Karen Clay is the general counsel and legislative liaison for The W. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi College School of Law and holds a Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Tennessee and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The W.
A Golden Triangle Leadership graduate, Karen is the past board president of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, has served on the Steering Committee of 100 Women Who Care Columbus since its founding, and is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal church, having served on the St. Paul’s Episcopal School Board as past chair. In her free time (ha ha), she plays as much tennis as possible, volunteering with her kids’ high school tennis team and the local USTA Youth Tennis league.
Prior to joining The W, Karen worked in private practice in Jackson, Mississippi, where she specialized in employment law.
