Chad Clark, Ph.D.

Dr. Chad Clark currently serves as the Compliance Director for the University of Alabama’s Department of Public Safety, where his primary roles include Clery Act Compliance, Campus Safety Training, Grant Writing and Data Analysis. Dr. Clark has built the Clery Compliance role at UA since 2016 and continues to partner with campus-wide organizations and other local partners to enhance safety measures.

Chad spent 12 years working in Student Affairs in various roles from advising Student Government to serving as the Chief Judicial Officer, before moving into working with University Policy in 2016. He serves as an adjunct faculty in the University of Alabama Higher Education Graduate Program, where he currently teaches courses in Student Affairs, and Higher Education History.

Dr. Clark completed his undergraduate and master’s work at The University of Kentucky, and holds a Ph.D. from The University of Alabama.
